00400 ferrules are used for four wire hoses like R9A,R9R,4SP,4SH, R12 hoses. Ferrule for R12 hoses are made from carbon steel of good quality and treated with heat. YH Hydraulic is offering two shapes of four wire ferrule as pictures presented above. 00400 ferrules are connected with hose fittings which fitting tail should be a bit longer than the fittings for R1AT hoses and R2AT hoses. YH Hydraulic is offering Interlock ferrule for four wire hoses. And the technical data shows in the sheet called 00405. Also YH Hydraulic is able to make a different length for each size.
